What is Curtain Master M6?+
It is a next-generation curtainsider — a universal design built for greater transport efficiency and lower total cost of ownership. The optimised frame and body significantly reduce the curb weight, increasing payload.
How much more payload is there?+
Payload increases by up to 360 kg over the previous generation, thanks to a curb weight reduced to 5,640 kg (welded frame lighter by 300 kg, lighter walls and rear portal).
What is the floor load capacity?+
The floor withstands 7,600 kg per forklift axle (+100 kg over the previous generation). The plywood is additionally glued to the crossbars and edging — fewer screws and a longer service life. The figure is research-backed.
How much can I save on fuel?+
Up to EUR 1,295 per year (approx. 700 l) compared to the standard Wielton model of the previous generation. Calculated using the certified VECTO emissions calculator (price of 1 l of diesel = €1.85, mileage: long-haul 160,000 km / regional 70,000 km).
What chassis equipment packages are available?+
There are 11 chassis equipment packages — sets of spare-wheel baskets and toolboxes / pallet boxes (60 L, 145 L, 195 L toolboxes, 24EP pallet box). Bundling simplifies the choice and shortens lead times.
How does it differ from the previous generation?+
The M6 comes with a lifting axle and aluminium rack boards as standard, a new rear-door hinge (single point of rotation, opening to 270°, individually replaceable) and reinforced board locks. Overall it is lighter, stiffer and easier to operate.
